I like Breevort but this is nonsense. Reactions to images of male and female bodies are massively different. They appear in massively different cultural contexts and convey very different messages.
Tom’s attempt to appear blind to that is ridiculous and I suspect he knows it.
I personally wouldn’t touch a book that uses an image like the one Manara produced for Spider-Woman, even as a variant cover.
Tom needs to think about who he’s aligning himself with when he defends this rubbish.
